A legacy of compassion for over 75 years serving the Fresno area
Stuart Chandler is proud to call the Central Valley his home. His roots in the Valley date back to the late 19th century when his great-grandfather, W.F. Chandler, started farming just south of Fresno. To this day Chandler Farms (now owned and operated by Bill and Carol Chandler) flourishes. Chandler Airport has served local aviators for over 70 years on land donated to the City by W.F. Chandler. Stuart lives in Fresno with his wife, son and daughter. He has served on the Boards of several local civic and ministerial associations.
The Evolution of Chandler Law
Chandler Law founder, Stuart Chandler has been practicing law in California’s Central Valley since 1979. Through principled hard work, compassion, respect and perseverance, Stuart has earned a spot as a Top Rated Personal Injury Attorney by Super Lawyers Magazine in recognition of his superior Plaintiffs practice.
At the start of his career, Stuart associated with a prominent Fresno insurance defense firm where he excelled in civil litigation. In 1985, Stuart decided to change his career direction in pursuit of his desire to advocate for Valley residents devastated by a personal injury or the wrongful death of a loved one.
With that goal in mind, Stuart said goodbye to the prominent law firm and the corporate insurance clients and hung his shingle outside a small office in Fresno. There he began representing clients victimized by serious motor vehicle collisions, pedestrian accidents, and medical malpractice victims. His expertise soon grew to include helping abused elderly residents receiving negligent care in nursing homes, insurance bad faith claims, and other negligent acts resulting in injury or harm.
Over the last three decades, Stuart’s goal has successfully evolved into Chandler Law. A legal team comprised of caring and committed professionals with over 75 years of experience collectively.
Our Move to Clovis — A New Chapter
After more than 45 years with offices in Fresno, we’re excited to begin a new chapter in Clovis. In September 2025, we relocated to a beautiful property that better reflects who we are and how we serve – thoughtfully, personally, and with genuine care for the people who walk through our doors.
Clovis isn’t just a new location for us, it’s a community we’re proud to be part of. We’ve been warmly welcomed and we’re grateful for the opportunity to build lasting relationships here. There’s a strong sense of connection in this city, and we’re honored to continue our work in a place that values people and community as much as we do.
At our firm, we believe how we treat people matters. Our approach is rooted in compassion, honesty, and a deep sense of responsibility to care for others well. We don’t see clients as case numbers.
